About Salford Parent Carer Forum

Neurodevelopment

Salford Parent Carer Forum have worked with the teams that develop, support and organise the Neurodevelopmental Pathway and offer. We have worked together to develop pre-diagnosis courses for Parent Carers, shared the views and experiences of our membership at a strategic level, and being part of Salford's new Neurodiversity Network. 

You said.....we did!!!

"There is no support available whist you wait for a diagnosis"

A working group, including SalfordPCF, Neurodev leads, and CAMHS, worked together to re-write the ADHD & Autism post diagnosis courses. They have now been co-prodcued with Parent Carers, and will be delivered Pre-Diagnosis is the coming months.


SalfordPCF have been involved with the development of the new CAMHS website (to be launched late 2025) - This will have a wealth of information to support Young People and their Parent Carers/
