Salford's Local Area SEND Inspection outcome
We welcome the publication of the outcome from Salford's Local Area SEND Inspection and acknowledge the positive outcome for our local area. This reflects the commitment and hard work of many people across education, health, social care, families, and the voluntary sector.
As a Forum, we also recognise that many parent carers continue to face challenges in accessing the support their children and young people need. It is important that we continue to listen to lived experiences and work together to drive meaningful improvements.
At Salford Parent Carer Forum, we remain committed to ensuring that the voices of parent carers are heard and that co-production remains at the heart of decision-making. We look forward to continuing our journey alongside Salford City Council, NHS Greater Manchester, schools, and our wider partners to build on this positive outcome, ensuring that every child and young person with SEND in Salford can thrive and that every family feels listened to, valued, and supported.
